Postcards! 70,000 postcards acting as pixels in an enormous cityscape.
Lyons Architects commissioned Vivid to assist with their Venice Biennale exhibit. The project was to take seventy thousand postcards and make a 5 x 15 metre wall out of them. Some of them were removable, which was very popular. Each Card showed either a building image or contained text about urban design. The postcards were also packaged as a box set collection of each unique card. The whole exhibition in one hand as an exhortation on the city.. Exhibition design and Art direction by Lyons.
