An icon for the transformation of an historic building. The brand needed to communicate both period charm and modernity (the aging, historic beauty was to undergo an extraordinary upgrade). A complete refurbishment with a modern extension created a building with a new future and a rewritten past. The logo is a classic piece of "modern period" typography borrowing touches from chrome age automotive emblems.
It was designed to reflect the class, dignity and style of the building and its inhabitants.
